Your kid will hand over the iPad before you ask.

RankPop turns chores, bedtime and screen time into a points game your 6–14-year-old actually wants to win — with a signed family contract, so the rules never depend on your mood.

Kids earn Aura for real-world W's

First-try wake-ups, homework blocks, handing the phone over calmly. Ranks, avatars, streaks. Zero nagging required.

📜

The Official Family Pact

A printable, signable contract built from clinical parenting frameworks (PBIS, CASEL, AAP media guidance) — in your kid's own slang.

Trusted Adult Pass

One tap from a coach, teacher, dentist or grandparent's phone sends +300 Aura and a ding to your kid's device. No app, no login for them.

🌱

The Grass Timer

The tablet goes on the table, a plant grows on its screen, and the kid walks away. Touch it and the plant wilts. Stay off for 30 minutes and it pays. Kids race their own record.

🛍️

The Aura Shop

Pets, hats, backgrounds, aura effects, titles — bought with the kid's own Aura, no parent approval. The first thing many kids spend on is not screen time.

🔥

Screen streaks

Every night the phone is handed over on time, the reward grows — up to +50%. Rank never drops, so a bad night can't erase a good week.

How it works

Log the W in two taps

50 ready-made behaviors across six categories, each tuned to your child's age. Or add your own in ten seconds.

Kids spend, rank up, never lose rank

Aura buys screen time and rewards from a shop you control. Rank is lifetime effort — taxes touch the wallet only, so nobody gives up.

Sign the pact, print it, fridge it

Curfew, daily target and eight rules in one certificate both of you sign. "It's in the pact, Dad."

Why it works (and why "turn it off" is the hardest ask of the day)

Feeds run on variable rewards — the same schedule as a slot machine. A child's prefrontal "brake pedal" keeps developing into their mid-20s. RankPop doesn't fight the off-switch; it pays for it, with the biggest daily reward reserved for the calm handover.

PBIS

The framework most US schools use: teach expectations, acknowledge 5:1, keep consequences small and immediate.

CASEL

Every emotional-intelligence behavior maps to one of the five social-emotional competencies.

AAP media guidance

Screen-free bedrooms and meals, screens off before bed, a written family media plan. The pact is that plan — with a scoreboard.

Speak their language — and lead it

The free Parent Decoder translates Gen Alpha slang into plain English, translates your sentences back, and helps your family invent its own words. A few this week:

Questions parents ask

Is RankPop an app I download from the App Store?

No download needed. RankPop is a web app: open rankpop.app on any phone or tablet and tap Add to Home Screen. It installs like an app in about 10 seconds and works on iPhone, iPad, Android and computers.

What ages does RankPop work for?

It is built for kids roughly 6 to 14, with behaviors and rewards tuned to three age bands (6–9, 10–13, 14–17). The rank names use the slang kids actually say, and every label can be renamed by your family.

How much does it cost?

A free 7-day trial, then $4.99 per month for the whole family — unlimited kids, contracts, adult passes and AI contract polish. Or $49.99 once for lifetime access. Cancel in one tap.

Is my child's data safe?

We store the parent's email, the child's first name and age, and the points ledger — nothing else. No photos, no last names, no location, no ads. Only the parent enters data. Coaches see a first name and two buttons, nothing more.

What is Aura?

Aura is the default name for the points in RankPop — the word kids already use to score how cool something was. Your family can rename it to XP, Points, Coins or anything else in one setting.

Does taking points away make my kid give up?

That is exactly what RankPop prevents. Taxes only touch the wallet; a child's rank is based on lifetime effort and can never drop. The app also warns you when a single penalty would wipe more than half the wallet, following token-economy research.

What is the Trusted Adult Pass?

A one-time link you send to a coach, teacher or tutor. They tap one button on their phone — no app, no login — and your child's device dings with the reward. The link works once and then expires.

What is the Neuro-Peace Guarantee?

Use RankPop for 7 days — log a win a day and issue one Family Pact. If screen-time arguments in your house have not dropped by at least 80%, email us within 14 days for a full refund. You keep the Parent Decoder Toolkit free.
